Known for her budget-friendly recipes, Rebecca has once again taken a classic holiday meal and given it an inexpensive twist.

She has proven that you don’t need to spend a fortune to enjoy a great Thanksgiving meal.

Rebecca recently shared a video on her TikTok, where she demonstrated how to create a $20 Thanksgiving spread using only items from Dollar Tree.

She proudly claims the meal the best Thanksgiving dinner she’s ever made.

And it’s built entirely from the store’s selection of affordable food items – many of which are new seasonal offerings.

Speaking to her 2 million followers, Rebecca said: “Not only have I already made the Dollar Tree Thanksgiving dinner.

“I do think it was my best Thanksgiving dinner I have ever made.”

She has created a meal using Thanksgiving-themed ingredients from Dollar Tree.

This includes mac & cheese croquettes with ranch as an appetizer.

It also has the “Best of Thanksgiving” casserole as the main dish, and caramel apple cookie bars for dessert.

Every ingredient on Rebecca’s list costs just $1.25.

The full meal includes

Swanson chicken broth
Kraft ranch dressing
Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
Kraft mac & cheese
Turkey stuffing mix
Idahoan Original Mashed Potatoes
Pioneer Roasted Turkey Gravy mix
Dried cranberries
French-style green beans
Two cans of turkey
Milk
Margarine
Sugar cookie mix
Werther’s Chewy Caramel candies
Apple pie filling

The total cost? A mere $20.

For those looking to add a little extra flair, optional add-ons like a large casserole dish, a block of cheddar cheese, and an extra sugar cookie mix are also available, each for just $1.25.

Rebecca’s Dollar Tree Dinners isn’t just about saving money – it’s about bringing people together over a meal that’s both easy to make and full of heart.

One of her followers, another TikTok creator named Caleb, shared a touching story about a single mother of three who had originally planned to serve frozen meals for the holiday.

After seeing Rebecca’s video, she was inspired to create a homemade Thanksgiving dinner for her kids, all with ingredients from Dollar Tree.

“I want her to know that her videos are helping people,” Caleb said.

Dollar Tree pricing

Despite the name of the store, Dollar Tree recently added items that cost more than $1 to its inventory.

Most items at the store cost no more than $1.25, but items in the Dollar Tree Plus section cost up to $5.

Dollar Tree introduced Plus aisles to 100 locations in 2019 as part of an effort to diversify its products.

By 2022, Dollar Tree had added the items to over 1,500 locations.

“We believe testing additional price points above $1 for Dollar Tree products will enable us over time to expand our assortments, introduce new products and meet more of our customers’ everyday needs,” president and CEO Michael Witynski said in a statement.

“Our brand promise is that customers get great value for what they spend at Dollar Tree. We will continue to be fiercely protective of that promise, regardless of the price point.”
