IT’S the holiday season, and Walmart is offering some sweet discounts to customers.
They can save money online or in-store on last-minute Christmas gifts as only nine days remain until the big day.

While some shoppers may have been unable to head to their local Walmart on Black Friday last month, the deals are ongoing through Christmas Eve.
This applies to merchandise both online and in-store, meaning several items are on clearance.
Those looking to take advantage should remember to look for the yellow clearance tags on the items at their local Walmart to get the best price possible.
Still, there’s another sneaky way to get even better sales, per a recent clip from couponing influencer LorenzoFamilyDeals (@lorenzofamilydeals).
The influencer could be seen in the video shopping around at their local Walmart.
They quickly found a jumper cable pack with an air compressor in the clearance section for $50.
While that was already a deal, by using the price checker in the Walmart mobile application, they showed that there was an added $10 discount on top of the clearance listing, bringing the total for the jumper cable pack to $40.
This process continued for several items.
DEALS FOR DAYS
For example, an Adventure Force Radio Control Trail Chaser Buggy toy was on clearance for $30, but the influencer used the price checker to reveal that it was $21 at their local store.
The Nerf Better Than Balloons Water Toys were also $1 when scanned despite the tag listing them at $2.
Arguably, one of the best discounts the influencer found using the price checker on the Walmart mobile app was for the Logitech Chorus Off-Ear Integrated Audio headphones for Meta Quest 2.
A yellow clearance tag marked it at $50, but after being scanned, they discovered it was only $24.99 at their store.
The influencer emphasized in the clip’s caption that the expanded deals were specific to their store and “not all stores are priced the same, you may or may not have better deals than this at your store.”
Even so, those who want maximum savings this Christmas at Walmart should make it a rule of thumb to download the mobile app and use the price checker on any clearance items they find.

If not, Walmart shoppers could be handing over more money without knowing it, as their specific store could be offering an even better price on the merchandise they want.
SCAN & GO
Shoppers who sign up for a Walmart+ subscription, which was discounted by 50% over Black Friday, could also use Scan & Go with the price checker feature.
Scan & Go allows customers to scan items they want in-store while adding them to their cart physically.
Each item scanned and put in the cart is then combined together on the app within a single barcode.
Customers then scan only that barcode at self-checkout for a quick and easy transaction process.
At least, that’s the idea.
Walmart decided to reserve some self-checkout kiosks at select stores earlier this year to ensure Scan & Go shoppers had an efficient checkout process, but it enraged some regular customers.
Several have threatened to boycott Walmart over the move, claiming at least 60% of the kiosks at their store were now reserved for Walmart+ members and Spark Drivers.
