WALMART has come under fire over a pickup order that left a customer waiting for their groceries.
Now, they’re threatening to file an official complaint with the retail giant over the incident.

The furious customer claimed there was no parking for their curbside pickup grocery order when they arrived.
Additionally, by the time they found a place to park, several orders before theirs hadn’t been filled yet.
“So I had a @Walmart pick up order earlier today,” the customer wrote in a post to X this month.
“65+ orders, no parking in the pickup spaces or curbside, approximately 1.5 hr wait.”
After getting fed up with the process, they decided to cancel the pickup order and head inside to get what they needed themselves.
“I went in & got my stuff in 20 mins,” the customer fumed.
However, the inconvenience wasn’t even the main issue, as they claimed only saw teenage Walmart employees trying to manage the pickup order backlog and the “chaos” of speaking with other frustrated customers.
“I will be complaining to corporate simply because/c mgmt left teens outside to deal w/the chaos,” they added.
“I felt so bad.”
Walmart’s official account has yet to respond to the X post.
Curbside pickup was first introduced at Walmart in 2013 with tests at a store in Denver, Colorado.
It was expanded a year later, and quickly grew to over 1,000 locations by 2017.
In 2024, there’s In-Home Delivery, Curbside and Same-Day Pickup, and more benefits for Walmart Plus members.
Walmart Plus is the retail giant’s subscription service, where most customers pay an annual fee of $98 or $12.95 monthly for a variety of perks, including free delivery, shipping, gas discounts, and even a Paramount+ subscription.

BEST BONUS
Arguably one of the biggest benefits of being a Walmart+ member is the Scan and Go feature through the Walmart mobile application.
Those who want to use Scan and Go can do so by pulling it up on the app while in-store and scan merchandise as they place it in their cart.
After everything is scanned, a single barcode will be generated for all of the items that can be quickly swiped at self-checkout and verified by a Walmart employee before leaving.
The same feature is also offered to Sam’s Club members.
VIP ONLY
While this is certainly a bonus to some, regular customers have been left fuming recently over select stores’ decision to block off self-checkouts that favor Walmart Plus members with Scan and Go instead.
Some have claimed about 60% of their local Walmart’s self-checkout kiosks are now reserved for Walmart Plus members.
Others argued that they effectively were “forced” to pay the $98 fee to use self-checkout, but Walmart has denied this assertion.
Walmart also promised an investigation recently after it was accused of “failing customers” in a payment discrepancy.
There are also three major changes expected at Walmart in 2025.
