HBeyonce, 43, brandished a finger-gun gesture as she performed at halftime

Beyonce, 43, brandished a finger-gun gesture as she performed at halftime of the NFL‘s Netflix Christmas doubleheader.

And social-media users were tongue-and-cheek about an NFL player doing the same.

One fan wrote: “Would just like to note that Beyonce is doing the double gun gesture which is banned!”

Making a gun symbol of any kind in an NFL game is an automatic 15-yard penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Just this week, Jets receiver Allen Lazard found himself on the wrong end of the NFL’s “no gun gestures” policy.

Saints stars Marshon Lattimore and Alontae Taylor faced fined for making “violent gestures” during Week 4.

As did Cowboys receiver CeeDee Lamb and Commanders running back Jeremy McNichols.

The fines ranged from $6,250 to $14,069.

Beyonce, of course, is not eligible to be penalized.

Netflix promised a number of special guest appearances as Shaboozey and Post Malone joined the superstar on stage.

During the final stretch, Beyonce was joined by her daughter 12-year-old Blue Ivy

Beyonce made the finger gun at the conclusion of her flashy halftime performance at the end of her country hit ‘TEXAS HOLD ‘EM’.

The 32-time Grammy award winner lifted from the temporary stage to high in the air in the middle of the huge stadium.

Another fan joked: “Will Beyonce be fined as well ?”

One more wrote: “‘Glad I wasn’t the only one to notice.”

A fourth said: “Does Beyonce not know the rules ?”

Beyonce’s Christmas show was her third major showing at halftime of an NFL game.

She was the solo headliner for the Super Bowl halftime show in 2013 and was a special guest alongside Bruno Mars during Coldplay‘s show three years later.

Lamar Jackson and the Ravens led C.J. Stroud and the Texans 17-2 at halftime before Beyoncé stole the show.

Baltimore finished off the 31-2 victory with Jackson resting most of the fourth quarter.
