NFL fans are convinced that the New York Giants are losing games on purpose.
A play in the New York Giants game on Sunday has fans questioning if quarterback Drew Lock tried to lose the game on purpose.

The Giants currently hold the No. 2 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, and that could possibly improve to the No. 1 pick based on how the schedule plays out.
The more the Giants lose, the more likely they are to acquire the top pick in the upcoming draft.
With that in mind, fans have been meticulously watching Giants games to see if they are attempting to improve their draft pick on purpose.
One fan believes they spotted the moment where Lock avoided getting an easy first down.
During the first half of the Giants’ loss to the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, New York was in a third and six situation.
Lock stepped back to throw, but saw no one available for a pass.
Instead, he took off running up the middle and appeared to have a clear path to the first down line.
However, instead of taking the first down Lock veered 90 degrees to the right and ended up being tackled to make it fourth down.
“Drew Lock definitely got money on this game & trying to help the team tank, he aint fooling me,” X user @fsh733 wrote.
“He had a 1st down if he keeps running straight LMAO”
Other fans who watched that play unfold agreed that something was fishy and shared their thoughts on social media.
“WTF was that !!!!! One left foot then right forward and 1st down! My god!!!” one fan said.
“A bad QB would have beaten the Saints,” another fan said.
“Madden ball carrier vision 0,” a third fan said.
“There’s no f***ing way there’s not an outside force that told him to make sure the giants lose this game,” a fourth fan said.

The Giants went on to lose that game 14-11 and fell to 2-11 on the season, tied for the worst record in the league.
New York is expected to take a quarterback, and the two best options are projected to go in the top five picks.
The issue for them is that the Las Vegas Raiders hold the No. 1 pick in the draft and are also expected to take a quarterback.
Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward are seen as the top options in this year’s draft.
The Giants will likely get whichever one is leftover after the Raiders pick if the draft order stands.
