The following items were taken from Naperville police reports and press releases. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt:
A 35-year-old man from Westmont was arrested on a warrant and on charges of obstructing an officer and unlawful possession of cannabis by a driver at 8:21 p.m. July 18 at West Ogden Avenue and Benedetti Drive.
A 58-year-old man from Naperville was arrested on charges of failure to signal when required, improper window tinting, driving under the influence of alcohol and driving on an expired license at 8:33 p.m. July 18 at Raymond Drive and West Ogden Avenue.
A 33-year-old man from Chicago was arrested on charges of reckless discharge of a firearm and aggravated battery at 9:02 p.m. July 18 in the 1800 block of Santa Fe Drive.
A 41-year-old man from Bourbonnais was arrested on a warrant at 1:33 a.m. July 19 in the 2200 block of Popple Court.
A 28-year-old man from Aurora was arrested on charges of speeding, driving under the influence of alcohol and driving without insurance at 2:14 a.m. July 19 at West Jefferson Avenue and Willoway Drive.
A 33-year-old man from Lombard was arrested on a charge of speeding 26 to 34 mph over the limit, improper lane usage, transportation of open alcohol by a driver and driving under the influence of alcohol at 2:36 a.m. July 19 at Brookdale Road and North Route 59.
A 67-year-old woman from Chicago was arrested on one count of reckless driving, two counts of burglary, three counts of retail theft and one count each of reckless driving, fleeting or attempting to elude, speeding 35 mph or more over the limit and unlawful possession of a theft detection device retail at 3:24 p.m. July 19 at West Bailey and Plainfield Naperville roads.
A 28-year-old woman from Chicago was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, transportation or possession of open alcohol by a driver and retail theft at 7:08 p.m. July 19 in the 2500 block of West 75th Street.
A 30-year-old man from Naperville was arrested on charges of driving too fast for conditions, leaving the scene of an accident, driving without insurance and driving under the influence of alcohol at 7:56 p.m. July 19 at North River Road and Brookdale Road.
A 23-year-old man from Yorkville was arrested on charges of speeding 35 mph or more over the limit, not using a turn signal and no registration plate on vehicle front or rear at 9:46 p.m. July 19 at West Ogden Avenue and Benedetti Drive.
