Macy’s apologizes as shoppers warn others about ordering issues and fume chain ‘will screw up your Christmas gifts’

AN online shopper has blasted Macy’s for its “slow to no service” and claiming the retailer will “screw up your Xmas gifts” on social media.

The frustrated customer took to social media platform X (formally Twitter) after their products hadn’t been delivered on time.

The shopper, known as Jack Shea, fumed: “Warning to anybody thinking of buying online from Macy’s.

“Dont do it!! Slow to no service. It said fast delivery yet one item hasn’t even been processed yet.

“Other said come today. Then tomorrow. Now say Wednesday. They will screw up your Xmas gifts.”#

The chain retailer apologized to Jay for the delay.

Replying to his tweet, a Macy’s customer representative said: “We’re sorry to hear we’ve disappointed you.

“Could you send us a DM, so we can gather more details and try to help?

“Please include your order number, name, phone number, and email address. Thanks.”

It not known if Jay reached out to Macy’s with his details to resolve the issue.

It comes after another frustrated customer blasted Lowe’s for its poor customer service.

Taking to social media platform X (formally Twitter), Jeff Stanley called out the chain retailer after he became disappointed with the brand’s customer service.

He said: “Your website is misleading and a bad practice offering next day installation.

“Very disappointed after over a week of waiting.”

Responding to his tweet, Lowe’s apologized for the experience and promised to investigate the matter.

It comes shortly after another frustrated shopper took aim at Lowe’s for it’s poor customer service.

The unhappy shopper complained about the lack of service provided – and even showed proof.

The customer claimed the retailer kept them waiting for a quick door installation.

And when they tried to call customer service, they claimed they were put on hold every time – even hanging up several times.

The shopper wrote on X/Twitter: “Lowe’s [has] the worst customer service experience ever. Been trying to get in contact with your store to figure out the status of a door installation for an hour.

“Keep getting put on hold which leads to the call dropping or just outright being hung up on.”

In an act of good faith, Lowe’s issued an apology to the angry customer.
