Lowe’s promises probe after shopper forced to ‘wait 40 minutes’ for help despite speaking to staff twice

LOWE’S has been forced to apologize to a shopper recently after they cited their experience as a “huge disappointment.”

Venting on X seemed to work, as Lowe’s official page returned to the customer with a follow-up.

The customer started their complaint by tagging @Lowe’s.

“I’ve always had really good luck at Lowe’s…”

“Today was a huge disappointment.”

“I sat back at the wood-cutting machine for 40 minutes, kept being told, “We’ll send someone back.”

“Had to just leave, sad waste of time.”

They followed up by sharing, “I even called customer service from the machine.”

Within a few hours, Lowe’s took to its official X page to respond to the customer.

The message read, “We’re sorry your experience didn’t go smoothly.”

“This isn’t the experience we’re striving for!”

“Can you send us a DM with the store location so we can look into this?”

This encounter happened just a few days ago, so it’s not certain what or if anything has happened since the online exchange.
