Her interest in sewing goes beyond doing a good job. She sees herself as an artist and her work as art. She is not content with “good enough” she strives for “perfect”, blending the alteration into the design of the item in such a way that it is impossible to tell the item was altered. I have just phoned to make inquires about having a bridesmaid dress made. The lady who answered the phone did not seem to want to answer my questions and when I asked her when the dressmaker will be there so I can come in on that day she hung up the phone on my…..oh well :-/
