Jonas Brothers bring out Demi Lovato for ‘Camp Rock’ reunion at MetLife

The Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato delighted fans on Sunday night when Lovato made a surprise appearance at the boy band’s show at MetLife Stadium.

Lovato and the brothers sang multiple songs from their 2008 Disney Channel movie “Camp Rock,” including “This Is Me” and “Wouldn’t Change a Thing.”

After finishing “This is Me,” Joe Jonas told the crowd he and Lovato hadn’t sang the song in “almost 10 years,” with Lovato adding it “might have been longer.” In addition to their on-screen romance in “Camp Rock,” Joe Jonas and Lovato briefly dated in real life in the early 2010s.

Joe, Nick and Kevin kicked off their 20th anniversary tour with Sunday night’s show at MetLife, one of the largest venues they’ve ever played together. An NJ Transit line was temporarily renamed the “Jonas Brothers Hometown Express” to help fans get to the Jersey natives’ show.

“Couldn’t be more proud,” Lovato’s husband, Jordan Lutes, wrote in an Instagram post. “I love u sooo much baby.”

In addition to their concert performance, Joe Jonas and Lovato gave fans more to enjoy with an Instagram video where they lip-synced “Wouldn’t Change a Thing.”

Lovato was not the only special guest for the tour’s opening show, as fellow 2000s heartthrob Jesse McCartney joined the brothers to sing his hit “Beautiful Soul.”

The Jonas Brothers are scheduled to play 51 more shows across the country for their tour promoting their latest album, “Greetings from Your Hometown.”
