Fox NFL Sunday has continued to be the lead pregame show, pulling in an average of 4.4 million viewers this year.
The Dallas Cowboys legend revealed a message on social media concerning the achievement and acknowledged the journey he has had with Bradshaw and Howie Long.
“Terry, Howie & I started 31 years ago….been a GREAT RUN!” Johnson wrote on X on Tuesday.
And fans think that Johnson will remain on the popular program.
“You guys are the best show out. I know you’ll continue to be on it!” one wrote.
“Only show I’ve watched since I was a kid!! Keep it rolling,” another commented.
“I look forward to years to come watching you guys,” a third added.
Fox NFL Sunday began back in 1994 and has gone on to win four Sports Emmy Awards for Outstanding Studio show.
The show has been hosted by Curt Menefee since 2007.
A year later, the program added Michael Strahan in 2008 and has only continued its enthusiastic, humorous style mixed with football knowledge.
Fox NFL Sunday also signed the energetic NFL icon Rob Gronkowski to the show in 2022.
The current show consists of Menefee, Bradshaw, Long, Johnson, Strahan, Gronk, and NFL insider Jay Glazer.
Fox Sports celebrated the milestone by posting a video of the opening minute of Fox NFL Sunday’s first-ever show in 1994.
At the time, Bradshaw introduced TV viewers to the cast of the show which included then-host James Brown, Long, and Johnson.
During the regular season, Fox NFL Sunday takes place each Sunday from noon to 1:00 pm Eastern.
Johnson and company will prepare to work special playoff editions of the show for the next month.
The program will be called Fox NFL pregame and will air this Sunday at 4:00 pm Eastern, previewing the Wild Card matchup between the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles.
Play-by-play broadcaster Kevin Burkhardt and NFL legend and analyst Tom Brady will be on the call of the game.
