DuPage County coroner lagging in reelection bid but other incumbents appeared headed to victory

DuPage County voters had to choose between incumbents and challengers in races for circuit court clerk, auditor and coroner and between two new candidates for recorder.

Only DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert Berlin did not face a general election opponent.

With only 72 of 600 precincts left to county and early voting and mail-in ballots in, these are the unofficial results as of 9:15 p.m.

Jeremy Wang (R): 161,785

CORONER

Judith Lucas (D): 180,050

Richard Jorgensen (R-incumbent): 170,918

AUDITOR

William White (D-incumbent): 180,438

Bob Grogan (R): 172,228

RECORDER

Liz Chaplin (D): 188,666

Nicole Prater (R): 162,072
