CAITLIN CLARK is set for a new venture as the NBA tries to lure her with an All-Star Weekend offer.
The WNBA superstar could take part in the event alongside Dallas Mavericks ace Klay Thompson.

The All-Star Weekend will be held at the Chase Center in San Francisco on February 14-16.
It is thought the competition will be a revamped version of the NBA vs WNBA three-point challenge from last year.
The previous edition saw Steph Curry and Sabrina Ionescu take part.
That was watched by 4.57 million viewers, which was an increase of 31 per cent compared to the 2022 figures.
The peak number of viewers was 5.4 million, which was registered as Curry took on Ionescu.
Therefore, it is thought that Clark’s potential participation could further boost the ratings.
The Indiana Fever rookie sensation has made a huge impact on the WNBA’s viewership since she broke through.
A further 19 million people have tuned into the regular season to watch Clark and the 2024 NCAA women’s basketball championship.
Her impact on the league has been compared to that of Michael Jordan’s on the NBA.
The 22-year-old did not take part in the WNBA’s three-point contest earlier this year despite attending.
This was because she needed to “rest” having gone straight into the WNBA from college.
The prize on offer for that event was just $2,575 for the winner from the WNBA.
However, it was upped by sponsor Aflac, which added $50,000 to the kitty.
It is not yet known exactly what the NBA will be willing to offer Clark to take part.
Meanwhile, Clark recently proved she is “mortal” as she almost took out a fan with a golf ball at the Pro-Am.
Caitlin Clark fever
CAITLIN Clark’s impact was already felt by the WNBA even before she was drafted.
The Iowa college superstar went No. 1 overall to the Indiana Fever in a surprise to absolutely nobody.
The Indiana Fever had 36 of their 40 games in the 2024 season scheduled for national TV – up from 22 last year.
Teams also moved their games against the Fever to bigger arenas to cater for the extra ticket demand.
Clark helped the NCAA draw 18.9 million viewers for the women’s championship game, more than the 14.8 million who watched the men’s decider.
She has also already signed a deal with Nike worth upwards of $20 million.
