MICHAEL Strahan and the cast of Fox NFL Sunday are sharing the charitable causes they are supporting during the NFL’s My Cause My Cleats initiative.
Every year, the NFL has players wear custom cleats to show support for charities they have founded or supported.

The league allows Fox NFL Sunday to join in on the special initiative, and Curt Menefee, Howie Long, and Michael Strahan showed off customized shoes featuring special causes.
“We’re fortunate enough that they allow us to show off some of the causes that we support,” Menefee said.
Strahan showed off an amazing pair of shoes to show support for his daughter who battled a brain tumor.
“Mine is St. Jude,” he said.
“My Daughter Isabella had a brain tumor and went through that over the course of the last year.
“A very challenging thing, St. Jude was a part of that along with Duke Children’s Hospital as well.
“But St. Jude, they treat the patient and take care of the family as well. It’s a family disease.
“It’s not one person going through it, we all go through it, so there’s no bill for treatment, no bill for housing, no bill for food.
“They make sure these families can get through the most trying times of their lives.
“At the end of the day we hope there is no need to ever have a St. Jude because that would mean there is no more child with cancer.”
Long heralded Strahan’s cause and his daughter’s recovery as “amazing.”
He went on to share the cause that he is supporting, which is directly related to his son.
“We’re partial but our son Chris’ Waterboys Foundation has started an educational initiative called end zone,” he said.
“It provides kids materials they need everyday to function in school.
“They find at-risk kids and provide materials to them, and also they’ve got a book program.

NFL fans loved to see the special support from their favorite players and shared their love on social media.
“Love when people give back like this,” one fan said.
“Nice work by Howie Long,” another fan said.
“This is the sort of thing that needs more attention,” a third fan said.
