Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios led the way for many other tennis pros to join OnlyFans, and now he’s taking his partnership with the platform even further with a new reality show coming to the platform’s free-to-view, safe-for-work streaming version, OFTV.
Kyrgios will host the original series called Smash City which premiers on June 13th. Along with reality TV star Sophie Stonehouse from Too Hot to Handle and 2022 AVN Hall of Fame adult actress Rachel Starr, Smash City is a four-episode pickleball-based competition.
The show will feature eight OnlyFans creators, including reality show contestants Nathan Webb, Joey Joy, sports pros Adi Spiegelman, Sachia Vickery, and models Nellie Cronen, Kayla Fitzgerald, Trippie Bri, Steph Mi. These creators will compete for $20,000 by winning pickleball games. Some games will be silly while others will lean into the OnlyFans sexy slant.
Kyrgios has made a name for himself as quite the personality, and this is his chance to show it off.
“I was super excited when they told me the idea,” said Kyrgios in a recent interview. “I’ve hosted a couple TV shows in the past, and at this point in my career, I’m always looking to do things outside the box. So I was all for it, and it was a lot of fun for sure.”
“I enjoyed hosting it, and I love competition in general. Pickleball for me is very close to tennis, so that instantly caught my interest.”
Kyrgios has been an OnlyFans creator since December 2023. The tennis player who has seven ATP Tour titles and was ranked No. 13 in the world at one point doesn’t use the platform to create explicit content. He’s one of the growing number of creators — especially athletes — using the platform to interact with fans, share behind-the-scenes looks of his life as a tennis pro, and yes, make some extra cash.
“I think the perception of OnlyFans is slowly changing,” said Kyrgios. “When I’m able to show people my OnlyFans and the type of content I can post, it makes people more comfortable to start their own accounts and share things about their life. I don’t think I’m trying super-hard to change the outside perspective. It’s more so just educating people.”
He continued: “The content I’m able to share on OnlyFans is a lot different than what I can share on other platforms. I’m able to share a lot more of my personal life. I always do a lot of tennis content, but there’s also things that I do in the gym and in my everyday life. I can video myself at a restaurant with my friends or at home with my parents. I could do a Q&A or do a poll. I’m able to give my fans what they want.”
It’s the fan engagement that Kyrgios enjoys so much. He has been open about his mental health struggles, and hopes that his willingness to speak up is helping others, too.
“You know, people don’t assume that an athlete playing on the world stage is going through things like that. So, when I was able to open up about it, it made other people feel more comfortable talking to me about that. So that’s been special to help them and make sure that they’re on the right track and on the right path,” he explained.
Kyrgios is thankful for the freedom OnlyFans has given him to create content that speaks to his fans and followers, and is excited to see what everyone thinks of the new reality show.
