RANDY MOSS is in “great spirits” as he continues to battle bile duct cancer.
The NFL legend revealed he had surgery and was undergoing chemotherapy as tributes flooded in from the sporting world.

The shock video announcement saw Moss reveal he had needed a six-hour surgery and, at the time, needed a cane to walk.
The ESPN analyst is also a co-owner of Crisppi’s Chicken and business partner Brittany Tolliferreo offered an update on his condition.
She told TMZ: “He was in great spirits when I talked to him.
“I haven’t noticed any change in him, he’s pretty consistent with his personality.
“He’s a smart and strong businessman and he wants everything to be successful and continue to grow.”
The original restaurant is in Hungtington, West Virginia, but has a new location opening next week in Miami, Florida.
And Tolliferreo even hinted that the former Minnesota Vikings and New England Patriots receiver could be at the new location on January 18 to cut the rope.
“You never know with Randy, he’s full of surprises,” she added.
“But he has given us his full support with this Miami location.”
Moss caused huge alarm among fans when he was seen on ESPN with yellow eyes in late November.
A couple of days later he removed himself from live TV duties and then in mid-December appeared on video to announce his cancer diagnosis.
Moss had been hospitalized for six days and underwent a Whipple procedure, a surgery that removes part of the pancreas, small intestine, gallbladder and bile duct.
Aided by a cane on the video, Moss said: “I didn’t think I would ever be in a position like this, as healthy as I thought I was.
“All the prayers, the well wishes, I really felt that, my family felt that.
“As soon as I get healthy to get back out with guys, I will be on set. Hopefully, I can be with you guys soon.

Moss, 47, has worked for ESPN since 2016 after a Hall of Fame career that saw him named as one of the best and most dominant receivers ever to play football.
He was a member of the 2000s All-Decade Team and reached two Super Bowls – though he lost both.
Moss ranks second all-time in touchdown catches and holds single-season records for most TD receptions (23 in 2007) overall and by a rookie (17 in 1998).
His dominance was so prominent that the term ‘Mossed’ – when a receiver makes a catch over a defender by being more athletic – has become part of NFL lexicon.
